Custom DESIGN & PATTERN DEVELOPMENT

Custom work refers to a client’s request for a new product to be developed by Sun Valley Bronze. Whether it involves modifying an existing product or creating an entirely new concept, custom work is client-driven and requires patternmaking and development to bring the concept to life.

Sun Valley Bronze works closely with design teams from concept through production to ensure the product is both visually successful and manufacturable. Our team will provide engineering guidance, feasibility input, and pattern development recommendations before development begins. Early collaboration allows us to align aesthetic goals with the functional realities of sand casting.

Custom pattern fees are determined per design and are based upon the complexity of the pattern. Pattern Fees will be determined upon approval of drawings and before prototyping begins. Sun Valley Bronze pattern fees cover the cost of drawing and design time, vise jaws, original pattern making, cloning, and the match plate.

To inquire about custom pattern work, please contact your preferred Sun Valley Bronze dealer with whom you intend to collaborate on the design development and hardware specification. Additional fees may apply to this process depending on the scope of the project and the planning and research required to execute the design.

Custom Design Terms & Conditions

Sun Valley Bronze retains all rights to all custom designs made for clients. If a client wishes to retain the rights of a custom design, fees START at a rate of $7500. Based upon the complexity of the pattern, this rate may be higher. The client must notify Sun Valley Bronze in writing of intent to purchase the rights to a custom design prior to commencement of services. A client cannot purchase such rights after Sun Valley Bronze begins design services.
