Pope Valley Ranch
Napa, CA
Nestled in the quiet, rugged landscape of Pope Valley, this thoughtfully crafted family retreat embraces the region's timeless character while offering a refined contemporary interpretation of the classic California ranch. Designed by Claudia Juestel in collaboration with architectural designer George Bevan, the 45-acre compound was envisioned as a place to gather, reconnect, and blur the boundaries between architecture and the surrounding landscape. A restrained palette of concrete, steel, plaster, and reclaimed materials creates a warm, understated aesthetic that feels both sophisticated and deeply rooted in its rural setting. Throughout the project, handcrafted Sun Valley Bronze hardware and architectural details reinforce the home's enduring quality, complementing the natural materials and elevating every space with exceptional craftsmanship.
